In response to severe drought conditions, some states are looking to reduce plumbing fixture flow rates lower than WaterSense’s rate, which is lower than federal requirements. In addition, a proposed SEC rule would require public companies, including plumbing manufacturers, to invest heavily in creating and maintaining systems for tracking carbon emissions. Finally, California is proposing to change California Prop 65 short-form labeling requirements.
