Certification validates competency of the HVAC Designer, working under the responsible charge of an engineer, to design HVAC systems to meet building/project requirements.

The support is part of a larger effort of LIXIL Americas to steer the conversation towards the importance of plumbers, and how their contributions ensure that communities have safe drinking water, a clean shower and proper sanitation.

The company has guaranteed a commitment to fund 50 scholarships for a total of $250,000.

This year's conference is in Kansas City, Missouri, from June 22-26.
