The Patrick J. Higgins Award recognizes individuals who have significantly contributed to the enhancement of standardization through active involvement in the development and promotion of ASME codes and standards or conformity assessment programs across various disciplines.

The award was presented at the AD Decorative Annual Brand Meeting in Minneapolis.

A total of $1.5 million in cash prizes will be awarded in the fall when the field is narrowed down to 25 winners.
