The Kitchen and Bath Industry Show (KBIS) has opened applications for the premier awards program, Best of KBIS, that will spotlight industry excellence in 2026.

IAPMO last week conducted its 2025 annual Education and Business Conference at the Renaissance Palm Springs Hotel.

The 27-year-old award initiative features a rigorous application process emphasizing top-performer attraction, development, and retention in the areas of diversity, equity, and inclusion, employee engagement, and talent development.

The award honors a manufacturer’s representative who upholds the customer service and excellence exemplified by the late Bob Bender, a longtime Oatey sales leader.

These awards celebrate excellence and recognize outstanding achievements in the HVACR industry, with categories ranging from community service to safety and overall excellence. 

ACCA developed its groundbreaking A2L Refrigerant Safety Training program to help the HVACR industry navigate the transition to more environmentally friendly refrigerants.

UMDFPE Chair Arnaud Trouvé, Ph.D., presented Denhardt with the award at the Distinguished Alumni Dinner during NFPA’s 2025 Conference & Expo.

Beaton will receive the award during the General Session at AFSA44: Convention, Exhibition, and National Apprentice Competition in Washington, D.C.
