The company was honored with the Business Model Transformation award for "Reinventing the Business Model with a Digital First, AI Ready Platform," and Alan Machuga, Executive Vice President, Technology, was named the 2026 Manufacturing Leader of the Year for his role in advancing Rheem's digital transformation initiatives.
The awards recognize manufacturers and industry titans driving innovation through technology, digital transformation and modern manufacturing practices.
Machuga was recognized for leading Rheem's adaptation into an experience-first, digitally driven enterprise through the modernization of the company's core technologies and the reimagining of key business processes. Machuga heads Rheem's Global Technology Group including Controls Engineering, Information Technology, Digital Services and Cloud Architecture. He is responsible for developing and implementing the company's long term technology vision and strategy and has accelerated digital capabilities to strengthen collaboration across the business, while enhancing the experience for customers, partners and employees.
Rheem's Business Model Transformation award recognizes the company's shift from a product centered business model to one that delivers a seamless connected experience for customers and partners. The Manufacturing Leadership Council recognized Rheem's Digital First, AI Ready Platform as an example of how manufacturers are using advanced technologies to reshape operations and customer engagement.
