HVAC training gets a big boost this July.

The new app is part of an ongoing, state-wide effort in Minnesota to attract high school students into the construction trades after high school and help them build highly satisfying, lifetime careers as a skilled construction professional.

Tyler Arndt has racked up quite a list of accomplishments for a guy who was just about to turn 27 when we stopped by Arndt & Son Plumbing, Brooklyn, Wisconsin, last month. 

The 11th annual competition will award monetary scholarships to three students and/or trade apprentices with an interest in how the plumbing and mechanical industry can create and promote positive change both here and abroad.

Josam Co. has established a $2,500 annual scholarship to a sophomore in a MCAA Student Chapter, pursuing a degree in construction management, mechanical engineering or a similar field.

The Clifford H. “Ted” Rees, Jr., Scholarship Foundation, a 501(c)(3) charitable foundation of the Air-Conditioning, Heating, and Refrigeration Institute (AHRI), has announced a partnership with SkillsUSA.

In 2019, representatives from Bradford White completed a corporate signing of the Pledge to America's Workers.

The associations have announced a partnership that will strengthen the relationship between local workforce development boards and the sheet metal and air conditioning industry, with a mutual goal of supporting the workforce needs of the sheet metal industry across the country.
