The PHCC Educational Foundation is increasing its scholarship awards in 2026, committing $180,000 across 75 scholarships to help plumbing and HVACR apprentices and students overcome the cost of technical training.

Demonstrating exceptional technical skills, leadership, and a passion for the HVAC profession, Jantzen Fisher of South Dakota has been named the 2025 HVAC Apprentice of the Year.

The award – sponsored by PHCC Corporate Partner Milwaukee Tool – was presented at PHCC CONNECT 2025 in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

The PHCC Educational Foundation is proud to announce the winners of its national plumbing apprentice contest. 

Through the Employment Training Panel, the cash targets 88 apprenticeship programs and 22,208 workers, many in construction.
