The IAPMO Group and PMI applaud the House Science, Space and Technology Committee for advancing legislation reauthorizing the National Institute of Standards and Technology and calling for the creation of a program for premise plumbing research.

Building Owners and Managers Association International, International Code Council, and National Institute of Building Sciences will bring together experts across building safety, construction and real estate industries.

The committee is responsible for the development of the 2024 International Energy Conservation Code.

The virtual event, which will take place Sept. 27-30, will kick off with keynote speaker Robert Glennon, an internationally renowned water resource expert.

Attendees can earn 0.1 CEUs through ASPE from the free course, which will be presented by Jay Egg, CMC, and feature guest speakers from Watts Water Technologies.

The annual event provides building safety professionals educational and networking opportunities.
