ASHRAE has formally opened its new global headquarters building, following a ribbon-cutting ceremony, attended by its board of directors, top building campaign donors, elected officials and local guests.

The company cites networking and collaboration opportunities as key benefits of the membership.

At a hosted side event, the organization highlighted growing building stock, consensus-based standards, and building industry involvement.

Standards 1200 and 1205 create consistency for off-site construction processes.

Since the program began in 2012, NIST’s Standards Services Curricula Development Cooperative Agreement Program has received 214 applications and made 41 awards totaling over $2.57 million.

As countries gather in Glasgow this week to address the current climate crisis, the Code Council provides expertise and solutions for governments and the building sector.

WE•Stand is the first-ever standard that focuses solely on achieving safe and efficient water use in residential and non-residential buildings.

The award is presented annually to a mechanical industry safety and health professional who has led his or her company to achieving an exceptionally high degree of safety excellence.
