The lawsuit accused Ulma of engaging in false advertising and unfair competition for falsely claiming that it normalized its flanges in accordance with American Society of Testing and Materials (ASTM) A105 standards.

The $10.3 million investment is expected to create 22 new jobs.

The specifications, published as ASTM F3347 and F3348, are for PEX tubes that distribute potable water and that support hydronic plumbing systems for homes and businesses.
