The Kitchen and Bath Industry Show (KBIS) has opened applications for its leading awards program, Best of KBIS, to spotlight industry excellence in 2027. Sponsored by LUXE Interiors + Design, this longstanding program sets the standard by rigorously evaluating hundreds of products to recognize the best-in-class brands and breakthrough designs shaping the future of kitchen and bath.
The Best of KBIS Awards puts industry icons and bold newcomers on equal footing, showcasing the most innovative, clever, beautiful, and boundary-pushing products on the market today. 2026 winners celebrated achievements across a wide range: long-needed design solutions like the anti-etching stone treatment from MORE Surface Care and FOTILE America’s space-saving dishwasher sink; functional art in the form of Richelieu’s bold and modern Atipica hardware and Cosentino’s elegant Sensa Quartzite; and what’s next in healthy living: a multi-functional bidet from Kohler and a versatile indoor or outdoor cold plunge from Empava.
The submission portal is now open to be considered for the honor of Best of KBIS; the deadline to submit is Nov. 20, 2026. Finalists will be announced in January 2027, while winners will be announced live at the show in Las Vegas during an awards ceremony on NEXTStage on Feb. 3, 2027, from 4-5 p.m.
Best of KBIS Categories
Seven award categories reflect the innovation, diversity, and design advancements of the kitchen and
bath industry.
1. Style Statement: Kitchen
○ Products submitted to this category should focus on aesthetic value, favoring new
finishes/colors, artistic collaborations, and other key style features in the kitchen – both
indoor and outdoor.
2. Style Statement: Bathroom
○ Products submitted to this category should focus on aesthetic value, favoring new
finishes and colors, artistic collaborations, and other key style features in the bath – both
indoor and out.
3. Sustainable Standout
○ This category will be judged on eco-friendly properties brought into the home, e.g.
water-saving technology for sinks, energy-efficient appliances, carbon-neutral surface
manufacturing, or recycled materials used to make art.
4. Wellness Trailblazer
○ Wellness standouts should deliver benefits to mental or physical well-being at home,
including spa-like amenities for stress relief and recovery, products made with clean
manufacturing, or indoor/outdoor luxuries that promote a connection to nature. As a
growing home category, wellness takes many shapes.
5. Game-Changing Innovation
○ Game-changing innovators should show new-to-market technology, new ways to
manufacture materials, new-to-category advancements, or any take on “new.”
6. Most Functional Find
○ This category will look for functional benefits (particularly multi-functional use-cases),
longevity, and value relative to price point.
7. Best in Show
○ Put simply, this award will honor the best all-around product.
Entry Information
To be eligible for consideration, all products must have been introduced after Jan. 31, 2026 and must be available to consumers by Dec. 31, 2027. To enter, exhibiting manufacturers must complete a Best of KBIS submission form and submit at least two high-res (300 dpi) images. Products may be entered in multiple categories; however, they require an individual entry form and submission fee for each category. Judging
A judging committee of design professionals, thought leaders, and industry experts will narrow the entries
to approximately 50 finalists, who will be announced in January 2027.
The finalists will then be judged on site by the same group of experts to determine the winning products. Each finalist will have five minutes to present their submitted item during an in-booth visit. Six categories award a Gold and Silver winner, while the Best in Show is awarded to one standout. Best of KBIS winners will be announced on site on Feb. 3, 2027.
