I enjoy a certain lifestyle that women who didn’t marry a plumber can’t even imagine. Certainly, there are other family members—husbands, partners, kids—who could relate to this experience, and probably even add to it.

For several years, I’ve learned about the growing threat of legionella bacteria – the cause of Legionnaires’ Disease – from some of the nation’s top experts.

Courtenay Eichhorst, business manager at UA Local Union No. 412 in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and Plumbers & Steamfitters UA Local 400, a local union consisting of about 2,000 members in Northeast Wisconsin, were honored at IAPMO’s 90th annual Education and Business Conference and 2019 ASSE International Annual Meeting this September. 

The combined businesses, now known as Profit Rhino powered by Callahan Roach, will offer best-in-class mobile sales technology, industry research, education and top price book content to create one of the most powerful flat rate platforms and selling tools in the industry.

The inaugural scholarship will be $500.

Organizations, businesses and residents were encouraged to donate new and gently used tools, as well as building materials, furniture and appliances, to Sonnhalter to help benefit Habitat for Humanity's cause of eliminating substandard housing and homelessness.

The competition challenged students to create a one-of-a-kind video showcasing their team’s technical skills in action.

In tribute to the most famous plumber of all time, the company is giving free tires to plumbers named “Mario” in honor of National Tradesmen Day.
