New Network 'Empowering Women In Industry' Launches

EmpoweringWomen18

Charli K. Matthews recently launched Empowering Women In Industry. The network's goal is to celebrate, educate, and empower women.

Many women leave the industry for various reasons; some are forced to choose between a career and family life, while others have first-hand experience with the ‘glass ceiling’ – consistently facing obstacles as they try to climb the corporate ladder. Without support, growing in a career is hard. This network believes women in leadership will develop and implement the solutions to the many issues that still need to be addressed. The team is committed to empowering women to be their best selves because they believe when this happens women can stay motivated to work toward dreams and accomplish goals.

Matthews and her team aim to help women advance in their profession and build a future generation of women in leadership. There is not always a seat at the table where women's ideas can be heard and understood. This lack of understanding is a roadblock for many women who don’t have the communications skills or the interest in having the attention focused on them. The network will stand with these ladies to equip them with the tools needed to create positive change in the industry.
