BellSimons Co. brought home top awards from Mitsubishi Electric’s 2017 National Diamond Service Group Conference in Atlanta, Georgia. Held by the Mitsubishi Electric US, Inc. Cooling & Heating division (MEUS), the Diamond Service Group (DSG) has 210 members across the country. This is the first big win for BellSimons Co. with Brian Surette, Sean Gallagher, and David Collins as the company’s three DSG’s. The criteria for the award include excellence in product support, contractor support, two day and four hour in-field service and installation courses.
The BellSimons DSG team is comprised of Sean Gallagher, a 20-year veteran of BellSimons Co. and adjunct in the Energy Systems Program at STCC. Brian Surette, who has been involved in the HVAC field since 2004 and current ACA/NE member, and David Collins, Biddeford, ME store manager. Together they service the needs of training and technical support for the Mitsubishi M&P product lines.
BellSimons Co. not only received the award for best service in the northeast (MEUS’s largest business unit), but also the national award for best service in the entire country. There are only two awards for excellence in this field and BellSimons Co. walked off with both.
The DSG program has grown from a handful of members at its founding in 2003, to a network of 210 dedicated individuals located in North America, Latin America and the Caribbean. DSG members are employed by distributors that sell the Mitsubishi Electric product. They are factory trained to be the local customer contact for troubleshooting and provide support for all installed Mitsubishi Electric’s HVAC systems. Ongoing training with Mitsubishi Electric service staff and continual excellent customer service are two requirements individuals must meet to qualify as a DSG member. The DSG Program is organized and managed by Mark Rogers, national service and program manager for Mitsubishi Electric US, Inc., Cooling & Heating Division.
