Branches to become part of Source 1 HVAC Supply Network.?

Johnson Controls has acquired M&A Supply Co. Inc.’s five York branches in the southeast markets of South Carolina, Georgia and Florida. The branches will become part of the Source 1 HVAC Supply, Johnson’s exclusive supplier of factory authorized service parts and residential accessories for all Johnson Controls Unitary Products residential and light commercial HVAC equipment.

“This acquisition is in line with our growth strategy and will allow us to accelerate the growth in these key HVAC markets,” said Liz Haggerty, vice president and general manager, Unitary Products Group, Johnson Controls. “It will also allow M&A to focus on its core markets of Tennessee and Alabama and continue to grow the York brand by expanding its network in those markets.”

“This is an exciting time for us as we continue to invest in new products and ensure that we have the strongest channels to drive market share growth,” said Dave Smithey, vice president and general manager of Source 1 HVAC Supply Centers, Unitary Products Group, Johnson Controls.

Johnson Controls is committed to making this transition as seamless as possible for its valued customers in the market and is excited to welcome the M&A Supply Co. Inc. employees to the Johnson Controls family.
