The Air Conditioning Contractors of America (ACCA) has announced that Wesley Davis, ACCA director of technical services, has received the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) Distinguished Service Award.                                                                   

The award recognizes members of ASHRAE who have served the organization faithfully and with distinction on committees or otherwise given freely of their time and talent.

"Wes' commitment to the advancement and continued success of the HVACR industry is highly admirable," said Barton James, ACCA president and CEO. "Besides overseeing the Manual S working group, Wes is heavily involved in ACCA's products committee, and is highly respected among our manufacturing partners and staff. He is often sought out for his expertise and guidance, providing members with his premier insights. ACCA is proud of Wes for receiving this award, it is well-deserved."
