The International Code Council’s (ICC) Building Safety Month campaign enters its second week emphasizing the importance of promoting building safety locally.

The annual campaign encourages the public to learn about and get involved in building safety with this year’s theme of "Game On!"

The publication is expected to be finalized and made publicly available by May 31, 2026.

ICC-ES has implemented significant updates to its Acceptance Criteria numbering system to protect public safety, enhance transparency, and maintain consistency with the latest building codes.

The organization was recognized for achieving record sales and providing exceptional support in 2024.

This decision comes after careful consideration and is a testament to the state’s commitment to upholding the highest standards in wildfire resiliency and mitigation. 

The Code Council is a proud signatory of the Windsor Declaration and is participating in a panel discussion on the industry’s role in tackling water scarcity.

These initiatives aim to help manufacturers and city officials streamline approvals and meet critical rebuilding timelines.

The 2025 Code Council Awards Program is now open and accepting nominations through March 15, 2025.
