ANSI is pleased to announce that it will celebrate the recipients of its 2020-2021 Leadership and Service Awards with an in-person ceremony, reception, and dinner during World Standards Week.

World Standards Week brings together ANSI members and diverse private- and public-sector stakeholders from across the standardization communities for topical discussions and special events in the spirit of cooperation and collaboration.

The new ASSE/IAPMO/ANSI Series 27000-2022, Professional Qualifications Standard for Hybrid Fire Extinguishing Systems Personnel, has been designated as an American National Standard by ANSI, and is now available for purchase.

To simulate a real-life, interactive experience of the voluntary consensus standards process, ANSI will host a virtual workshop for new and emerging professionals on Tuesday, March 29, 2022, from 1:00 p.m.-3:30 p.m. ET via Zoom.

As the U.S. member body to the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), ANSI is seeking comments on a proposal for a new ISO technical committee on natural gas fueling stations for vehicles.

The two new courses, Leadership Strategies and Skills: The Fundamentals and ISO Working Group Convenor Training, are freely available on ANSI’s training courses and webinars page.

The series highlights how credentials that meet standards gain credibility with industry and have been proven as effective in the workplace.

Nominations must be received by Jan. 31, 2022.

Canadian regulators, consumers, and other professionals with technical background in plumbing and mechanical systems, are requested to provide comments by no later than Jan. 11.
