During the June 17-18 meetings held at IAPMO’s World Headquarters West in Ontario, California, the committees acted on 253 proposed amendments to the 2024 editions of these Uniform Codes.

Beebe, who has been a section member since 2000, starts the new role on June 17.

This significant public awareness campaigns was created to educate the public and policymakers about the life-saving role of independently developed safety codes and standards — and to defend a system now under threat.

This news follows IAPMO Mexico’s accreditation and approval by the same entities in April to provide testing and certification at IAPMO’s facility in Mexico.
