During the 2019 Luxury Products Group Spring Expo, Executive Director Jeff MacDowell announced that a special interest group for young leaders was being formed.

The association is proud to welcome Matt Grizzard as ACCA’s director of membership and advocacy, Deb Weiner as manager of communications, and Matt Akins as manager of HVACR education.

LEED Fellows are shaping the future of green building and represent the top of their fields in green building design, engineering and development.

The Robert M. Cox Awards recognize outstanding projects put forth by the local Auxiliaries, state Auxiliaries and members-at-large.

The theme of the year’s AD meetings is “All In,” described as absolute commitment, pushing the status quo, getting fully involved and having an unwavering drive with customers, business partners and fellow associates.

With the mission to develop more effective leaders and a goal of helping women grow personally and professionally, event organizaers designed a curriculum that focused on change intelligence, mentoring and workforce development, personal branding, networking, negotiating, and empowering women to be their best selves. 

Sessions offer insight into some of the HVACR industry's biggest opportunities, challenges, new products, technologies and applications.

A total of 50 students received scholarships.

More than 2,600 union tradeswomen came together to network and learn from each other, including more than 400 UA journeywomen and apprentices, business managers and agents supporting their locals.
