SSPMA has announced that Nathan Gonzalez and Rowan Williams have been selected as the recipients of the 2025 SSPMA Scholarship Program.

The awards ceremony celebrated individuals whose work has advanced innovation, sustainability and technical leadership in HVAC&R and building sciences.

In a letter dated June 17, the SWRCB confirmed that ASSE 5110 is now an accepted qualification for backflow prevention assembly testers across the state.

The Patrick J. Higgins Award recognizes individuals who have significantly contributed to the enhancement of standardization through active involvement in the development and promotion of ASME codes and standards or conformity assessment programs across various disciplines.

The technical program is now available and registration is open.

This news follows IAPMO Mexico’s accreditation and approval by the same entities in April to provide testing and certification at IAPMO’s facility in Mexico.
