Air Conditioning Contractors of America (ACCA) is seeking nominations for its Service Manager of the Year Award program. The Service Manager of the Year Award recognizes a leader in an ACCA member company who goes above and beyond the normal scope of their job as service manager to make the company more successful.
This year, ACCA will present the Service Manager of the Year award at the 2019 ACCA Service Managers Leadership Forum Nov. 7-8 in Dayton, Ohio.
Service managers who work for an ACCA member company in good standing are eligible and must be nominated by their company's owner, president, or general manager. The ideal candidate promotes teamwork amongst all departments, emphasizes the importance of continuous training and learning, develops programs to motivate employees, and focuses on providing superior customer service.
“It is our privilege to provide this opportunity to our ACCA members. We see value in highlighting the service managers who stand out and recognize how positive employee involvement directly affects our member’s contracting businesses,” said Barton James, ACCA president and CEO. “Every year, we receive top-notch submissions and are looking forward to seeing what this year brings.”
The deadline to submit nominations is Sept. 20, 2019. The 2019 award winner will be presented with ACCA’s American flag that was flown over the United States Capitol Building on National HVAC Technician Day. The flag was flown by Congressman Markwayne Mullin (OK-2), former president of Mullin Plumbing, Heating and Air.
