Zurn Dedicates Jon Everett Training Center in Memory of Associate

Zurn Industries has announced the opening of its Jon Everett Training Center at its Paso Robles, California, location. The company held a ribbon cutting ceremony on May 8 at 3 p.m. to dedicate the newly remodeled training center in memory of Zurn associate Jon Everett.

Everett was an employee for Zurn Industries at the Zurn Wilkins location for 34 years before his passing in November 2018. With his extensive product knowledge, he was the utmost authority on backflow and pressure regulation and a proponent of product training. Everett was a respected and beloved coworker.

"Jon had a major impact on our business, our customers, and our associates," said Ed Stettler, director of operations for Zurn Wilkins. "The Jon Everett Training Center will be a reminder of his passion for our industry and his commitment to our customers."

The Jon Everett Training Center now features product displays and new state-of-the-art restrooms. The center accommodates a 36-student capacity and is expected to be used for training weekly. A dedication plaque graces the entrance of the training room in Everett's memory. His family, friends, and Zurn associates attended the ceremony, as well as members of the Paso Robles City Council, Mayor Steve Martin, and Zurn President Craig Wehr.
