It's been said that "information is power," and when it comes to complex HVAC systems, today's technology is proving the wisdom of that age-old quote. To provide facility customers with the best information possible, Lee Company is partnering with Envizi, a leader in data and analytics software. The new collaboration expands Lee Company's use of intelligent analytics-based technologies to better detect, diagnose and predict issues impacting customer operations, which includes real-time audio/visual findings, geofencing, and digital sound technology.
Envizi's software uses established data capture protocols, unique software metering technology, and advanced algorithms to provide real-time, equipment-level data. Lee Company professionals then analyze the data; update customers at facilities such as hospitals, universities, and sports venues; and take action as requested.
"Facility customers today don't have the time or manpower to check every piece of HVAC equipment every day, but every piece of HVAC equipment is important," says Steve Scott, Lee Company senior vice president of facilities solutions. "By adding Envizi to our technology-powered service platform, we can provide the up-to-date insights our customers need to make strategic decisions in a timely manner."
HVAC systems consume a major amount of energy in a facility, and are essential for daily operations: Employees, customers, and visitors expect a comfortable environment. The data provided by Envizi helps guide maintenance, repair, and replacement decisions to improve operations and the bottom line.
"Envizi works with a growing ecosystem of partners around the world, and we've seen the difference it makes when building professionals have timely access to granular, equipment-level data," says David Solsky, CEO and co-founder of Envizi. "We're excited about our collaboration with Lee Company, and share their vision for how technology can support better facility performance and deliver optimized outcomes for both building owners and occupiers. We look forward to a long and successful partnership with Lee Company in the US market."
