CoolToday Receives Naming Rights to Braves’ Spring Training Ballpark

The Atlanta Braves’ new spring training stadium currently under construction in North Port, Florida, will be named CoolToday Park in a 20-year deal signed by the team and  CoolToday, an HVAC, plumbing and electric contractor based in Sarasota, Florida.

"As part of our commitment to maintain a lifelong relationship with our community, this partnership with the Braves organization, City of North Port, and Sarasota County will cement our presence and strategy for southern Sarasota County," said Jaime DiDomenico, president/owner of CoolToday. "The Braves have a proven track record of building strong ties to the community they operate in and we look forward to enhancing those ties going forward. I'm very excited about what the future holds."

The agreement includes scoreboard and dugout signage for CoolToday as well as exterior signage and promotional opportunities for additional events held at the facility.

The Braves will conduct spring training at Disney’s Wide World of Sports complex near Orlando for the 22nd, and final, year in 2019, but will open the new stadium with an exhibition game against the Tampa Bay Rays on March 24.

The team expects to hold full spring training at the new stadium in 2020.

CoolToday is actually the second HVAC contractor business to put its name on a Braves’ stadium. The Braves’ Triple-A farm team, the Gwinnett Stripers, plays at Coolray Field, named for Coolray Heating and Cooling under a 16-year deal that began in 2010.
