Travis Voss, Mechanical Inc., Featured at Autodesk’s Connect & Construct Summit

Travis Voss, director of technology for Mechanical Inc., a mechanical contractor based in Freeport, Illinois, was one of the keynote speakers featured at Autodesk's Connect & Construct, The event, which is geared toward the AEC industry, is an optional session for Autodesk’s annual education conference, Autodesk University, held last November in Las Vegas.

The event features a full day of keynotes, workshops, case studies, all dedicated to helping participants shape a digital strategy to take advantage of construction technology.

Voss spoke about Mechanical Inc.’s path to technology leadership, what his role as a construction technologist means and how collaboration and cooperation with other members of the Mechanical Contractors Association of American through the the group’s Technology Committee has helped his company.

Voss will also be speaking at the MCAA Technology Conference in Tampa Bay, Florida, Jan. 30-Feb. 1. His presentation will be part of a session titled, "Next Generation Workflows," in which he will demonstrate how Mechanical Inc. has begun using augmented reality on the job site.
