Biomass plant at University of Maine to help college rely almost entirely on sustainable energy for heat.

The Portland Press Herald reports on the progress of an $11 million biomass plant at the University of Maine's Farmington campus. When it’s done, it will replace oil as the university’s primary heating source, and moves UMF toward its goal of being carbon-neutral by 2035.
