Mitsubishi Electric US, Inc.’s Cooling and Heating Division (Mitsubishi Electric), a leading manufacturer of Zoned Comfort Solutions and Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) cooling and heating systems has expanded its Performance Builder Program.

Developed to help builders, the program provides guidance for those who need high-performance cooling and heating systems for new construction, renovation, hot spot/cold spot situations, multi-family units or custom homes. Each Mitsubishi Electric business unit includes a Performance Construction Team dedicated to teach industry best practices, trends and advancements in order to provide performance building solutions for U.S. homebuilders, remodelers and multifamily developers.

“Today’s homeowners have high standards for construction – they are more educated and more discriminating than ever before,” said Mike Smith, senior manager of residential marketing, Mitsubishi Electric US, Inc.’s Cooling and Heating Division. “By staying on top of industry trends and needs, the Performance Builder Program works with customers to ‘build better.’ That means building more efficiently and proactively for better home comfort, health and performance.”

Participating in the Mitsubishi Electric Performance Builder Program offers: A national network of distributors, installers and technicians that ensures product availability and responsive service; in-depth training opportunities available through Performance Builder Program classes; access to a team of Mitsubishi Electric Performance Construction consultants; and marketing support to aide in promoting Zoned Comfort Solutions in homes.

Current program providers include: Southface in Atlanta, Georgia; Viridiant in Charlottesville, Virginia; The Energy & Environmental Building Alliance in Minneapolis, Minnesota; ZERO Energy Ready Home in Washington, D.C.; and Earth Advantage in Portland, Oregon.
