Chicago Faucets 420-T series faucets feature integrated scald protection

March 28, 2017

Chicago Faucets, the manufacturer of commercial faucets, launched the 420-T Series faucets with TempShield, built-in ASSE1070-compliant scald protection that eliminates the need for a separate thermostatic valve. The 420-T Series provides an all-in-one solution for commercial restroom applications.

The TempShield integrated thermostatic control element delivers water at a comfortable temperature. The 420-T Series features solid brass, chrome-plated faucet bodies and water-saving flow rates from 0.35 to 1.5 GPM, including vandal-resistant outlet options.

“The 420-T Series combines Chicago Faucets durability and water saving design with TempShield scald protection. The result is our most efficient, easy-to-install restroom faucet,” said Adam Molberger, Product Manager at Chicago Faucets. “Now there's no need to install a separate thermostatic mixing valve below the sink. With the 420-T everything you need to meet current building codes and help protect users against scalding is built right into the faucet.”

In addition to ASSE1070 compliance, the 420-T Series is certified to meet NSF/ANSI 61, Section 9 requirements by CSA and also meets ASME A112.18.1M, CSA B125.1 and ADA standards.

Chicago Faucets is a partner of WaterSense, a program sponsored by the EPA, and a charter sponsor of the Alliance for Water Efficiency, a broad-based non-profit organization that is dedicated to the efficient and sustainable use of water.  Chicago Faucets is also a member of the U.S. Green Building Council.

The Chicago Faucet Company is part of the Geberit Group, a European market leader and global provider of sanitary technology.
