Ferguson has acquired Ramapo Wholesalers, Inc. in an asset transaction completed Oct. 10.

Ramapo Wholesalers, a plumbing and HVAC supplier based in Spring Valley, N.Y., serves southeast New York and northern New Jersey. It has 47 associates in its seven locations in the New Jersey city of Hackensack, towns of Westwood and Midland Park and the New York villages of Monsey, Spring Valley and Haverstraw. The Ramapo Wholesalers’ brand will continue under new ownership.

“The acquisition of Ramapo Wholesalers provides us with an opportunity to expand our footprint in the Northeast,” explained Ferguson CEO Frank Roach. “We are pleased to welcome their knowledgeable associates to the Ferguson family.”

“I’m proud to align my company, customers and employees with the vast resources, infrastructure and professionalism of Ferguson,” said President Michael Schwartz. “This will position us to keep our renowned customer service and employee satisfaction intact in a rapidly changing economy.”
