A new report released March 11 by County Health Rankings, a collaboration between the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and the University of Wisconsin Population Health Institute, confirms that problems with the nation’s drinking water go much further than Flint, Mich.

Counties in nearly every state across the country have had some sort of drinking water violation in recent years.

The report pulled and compiled data on all drinking water violations that states had reported to the Environmental Protection Agency between 2013 and 2014.

For example, after crunching the numbers for California, Business Insider found that 79 percent of its 58 counties had at least one violation during that time period.
