Preparations are well underway for the 23rd Plastic Pipes Conference and Exhibition (PPXXIII), which will take place from Sept. 27–29, 2027 at the Woodlands Waterway Marriott Hotel & Convention Center in Houston, Texas.
With just over a year to go until the conference, preparations are gathering pace. Following the 2025 event in Warsaw, which featured 100 presentations and attracted 350 participants from 36 countries, the organizers anticipate continued interest in the Houston conference.
The program will focus on recent developments across the plastic pipe industry, covering areas including raw materials, testing, manufacturing, installation and the long-term performance of pipe systems.
“The pace of innovation in our industry continues to accelerate, and we are looking forward to bringing together experts from across the sector in Houston,” said Zoran Davidovski, chair of the organizing committee and technical program.
The organizers are now inviting potential speakers to submit abstracts for consideration. Abstracts of up to 300 words, in English, can be submitted through the conference website until 6 November 2026. With the Call for Papers now open, researchers, engineers and industry professionals are encouraged to submit their latest work for consideration.
The conference will also feature an exhibition and opportunities for industry organizations to participate as sponsors. Several new sponsors have joined the conference since summer. Borouge International, battenfeld-cincinnati, Graewe Fangli and MOL Elastomer have confirmed their support as Gold Sponsors, while McElroy Manufacturing will participate as a Silver Sponsor and SACO AEI Polymers as a lunch sponsor.
