Organizers of the 23rd Plastic Pipes Conference (PPXXIII) announced the Woodlands Waterway Marriott Hotel & Convention Center in Houston as the site of their next Conference and Exhibition, scheduled for Sept. 27–29, 2027. Also reported were three spin-off conferences confirmed for 2026 in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (April 2026); Johannesburg, South Africa (Sept. 24–26, 2026); and Nanjing, China (Oct. 25–27, 2026).

Announcing the venue for 2027, Zoran Davidovski, organizing committee chair, said: “Our most recent conference in Warsaw, Poland, was an outstanding success given the scale and scope of the conference program and attendance. More than 100 technical and business papers were delivered to 370 participants from more than 35 countries. The event also drew a record number of sponsors and exhibitors.”

“These international events are traditionally staged on alternate sides of the Atlantic. Often referred to as the ‘Energy Capital of the World,’ Houston occupies a central economic role in the Texas and U.S. oil and petrochemical industries. It is therefore both a figurative and real home to a myriad of plastic pipe makers and supply industries that support the sustainable world of plastic pipes.”

Sponsors announced

In building that sustainable future, the Plastic Pipes Conference Association and organizing committee welcomed Pipeson as a corporate sponsor of PPXXIII. Founded in 2007 in Sweden, Pipeson’s integrated solutions include Pipeson Analyzer, Data Manager and Certification Manager. Each component supports products designed for 50 to 100 years of service. Material, pipe and fitting manufacturers, testing laboratories and certification bodies use the software in 40 countries.

“We are happy to sponsor PPXXIII and exhibit Pipeson’s integrated solutions with complementary expert services. Supporting customers in the global piping industry is the core of our mission,” said Daniel Lindqvist, founder and chief executive officer. “PPCA conferences have always been a remarkable forum for engagement, which ensures development reflects the voice of our customers. We look forward to PPXXIII.”

“Proud support”

David M. Fink, chair of the Plastics Pipe Conference Association, added: “As chair of the Plastics Pipe Conference Association, I am proud to support PPXXIII in Houston. This event continues to be a cornerstone for innovation and collaboration in our industry, and we look forward to welcoming participants from around the world to share knowledge and advance sustainable solutions.”

“With Houston as the host city, PPXXIII promises to deliver an exceptional platform for technical exchange, networking and showcasing the latest advancements in plastic pipe technology. The organizing committee and PPCA invite all stakeholders to join this global gathering and help shape the future of sustainable infrastructure.”

A new PPXXIII website has been created to facilitate online registration, accommodations, speaker opportunities, and exhibition and sponsorship packages at www.ppxxiii.com.
