PDI has acquired Atlanta-based company Guy Gunter Home in alignment with the company’s growth and expansion goals across the Southeast. The purchase will allow the plumbing and lighting wholesaler and home products retailer to expand its product offerings in the premium appliance category to include Sub-Zero, Wolf, and Miele, complementing the GE Monogram line it already carries. The move also furthers appliance installation services in PDI’s offerings and allows the brand to support customers from start-to-finish.
“Four years ago, PDI grew its categories to include appliances through the acquisition of W.A. Bragg. Now, we’re expanding further to enhance and strengthen all that PDI can offer our customers. The appliance installation capabilities are key to providing customers with an end-to-end seamless experience.” said Coley Herrin, CEO of PDI.
PDI and Guy Gunter Home have been serving customers in the Atlanta area for more than half a century, sharing a dedication to conducting business with family values, integrity, and meaningful partnerships.
“Guy Gunter Home has been a well-respected, family-owned appliance business for nearly 75 years,” said Theron Gunter, owner of Guy Gunter Home. “We are proud of our legacy of bringing Sub-Zero to the Southeast and introducing several of the industry’s most recognized appliance brands to the market. I am grateful to partner with an organization that shares the same core values of integrity and customer service while also striving to provide successful outcomes.”
PDI will continue operating Guy Gunter Home under its original business name with operations under the new ownership effective immediately. Customers can find Guy Gunter Home at its showroom located at 1610 Southland Cir. NW, Atlanta, GA 30318 or online at www.GuyGunterHome.com.
