TheĀ Mechanical Contractors Association of America (MCAA) has announced the appointment of Mike Pantelides as executive director of government affairs. Pantelides joined the MCAA staff on Tuesday, May 26.
Pantelides brings extensive experience in government relations, public policy, lobbying, and strategic relationship development. His background spans government, private industry, and politics, where he has led advocacy efforts, developed regulatory strategies, and collaborated with senior officials and executives to achieve policy goals.
Prior to joining MCAA, Pantelides served as mayor of Annapolis. Following his tenure as mayor, he was appointed by the governor to lead the Office of Small Business Regulatory Assistance at the Department of Labor. He later served as director of plastics sustainability policy for American Chemistry Council.
Pantelides is a graduate of West Virginia University and resides in Annapolis with his family.
