The PVF Roundtable Board of Directors has announced that Dawn Witt of MRC Global has been voted onto the board.
Witt, director of corporate accounts, has more than 35 years of experience in the oil and gas industry and currently oversees gas utility industry relations for MRC Global, which was recently acquired by DNOW.
Witt is no stranger to the roundtable. She has served as a PVFRT liaison, championing MRC Global’s annual large scholarship donations and holding the title sponsorship for the Roundtable’s TroutBlast fishing tournament for many years. Witt serves a global market of energy and industrial projects that will expand the reach of the Roundtable’s charitable efforts and bring more customers to member companies.Witt travels the country attending networking meetings, site visits, conferences and trade shows, connecting manufacturers to distributors, distributors to end users, and everyone in between. She was appointed to the MEA Energy Association Energetic Women Leadership team, leads MRC Global’s Gas Customer Council, and is a strong supporter of the SGA Natural Gas Association, the WEI Western Energy Institute and the American Gas Association. She was also recognized by The Energy Workforce & Technology Council.
These industry connections will be an asset to the board of directors as PVFRT continues to expand awareness of its mission and grow membership.
“MRC Global is proud to support the PVF Roundtable Charitable Organization and the work they do for the future of our industry,” Witt said. “We have many team members who volunteer their time and resources at PVF networking events, raising funds for college scholarship donations to students in the PVF trades. I am honored to have been voted onto the board, and I can’t wait to be a larger part of the success this organization will continue to have over the next few years.”
PVFRT President Jamie Meade said voting on a new board member was no easy task, as every nominee was a strong fit.
“We have a lot of work ahead as we continue building momentum for PVF Roundtable in 2026, and Dawn will be jumping in headfirst,” he said. “Membership growth is a major focus for us this year, and Dawn’s experience, energy and industry relationships will be a huge asset as we work to expand our reach, strengthen engagement and continue bringing new companies into the PVFRT community. We’re excited to have her leadership and perspective on the board as we take PVF Roundtable to the next level.”
Witt’s first event as a board member will be PVF Roundtable’s tabletop exhibit, Cocktails & Commerce, next week at Bayou City Event Center in Houston. The event is open to the public starting at 2 p.m. and will feature more than 75 PVF exhibits. Attendees are invited to welcome Witt to the board and connect with vendors and customers during one of the Houston area’s premier industry networking events.
