Leading kitchen and bath brand Speakman displayed its featured Duo collection for the industry’s top designers during premiere event Boutique Design New York, hosted recently at the Jacob Javits Center.

The Duo collection was showcased as a refined, hospitality-ready expression of the mixed-metals story, inviting specifiers to mix and match finishes across rooms, floors and property tiers.

It also was the inspiration behind a Speakman-hosted gathering at Tiffany & Co.’s Blue Box Café. Held in partnership with RUE magazine, Breakfast at Tiffany’s welcomed two dozen designers for a focused conversation around mixed metals, craft and materiality.

"Speakman is a brand that marries functionality and fashion beautifully together,” said Danny Seo, RUE publisher and co-principal. “It's the jewelry of the bathroom and it makes sense that we celebrate them with our favorite designers at Tiffany's flagship store together.”

The event gave opportunity for the industry’s top creative minds to discuss trends and techniques as part of BDNY, the hospitality design community’s two-day trade fair. Speakman has long been a popular brand among BDNY’s audience, which includes designers, procurement specialists and developers.

“There’s no doubt that mixed metal continues to be top-of-mind for forward-thinking designers,” said Sharmin Welch, Speakman’s vice president of strategic accounts. “We heard immediate interest from designers, who were attracted to Duo’s tactile detailing and versatile finish pairings.”

Even beyond Duo, Speakman's breadth showers, faucets and bath accessories delivers a single, reliable source for cohesive, brand-standard solutions.

With decades of success in hospitality and thousands of specifications, Speakman continues to deliver durability, performance and design consistency at scale to meet the expectations of boutique, lifestyle and multi-residential projects alike.
