mSupply, a leading North American distributor of appliance, HVAC and plumbing parts and equipment, has announced that Daryn Cherry has joined the team as vice president of marketing.
In this role, Cherry will be responsible for implementing multi-channel marketing initiatives that continue to boost the customer experience through quality service, accessible inventory and reliable delivery.
“Daryn brings a wealth of expertise in ecommerce and digital marketing that will be a tremendous asset to mSupply’s sales strategy,” said Phil Mause, chief commercial officer. “We’re excited to put his ideas into action as we continue creating a transformative experience for our customers.”
Cherry brings more than 10 years of experience from industrial distributor WinSupply, most recently as its director of eBusiness. In that role, he built a digital sales team and increased online sales by 300% in a single year. He holds a bachelor’s degree in biology from Wright State University.
“mSupply is a forward-thinking, customer-focused company with the opportunity to make a big impact within the ecommerce space," Cherry said. "I'm excited to work at the forefront of those initiatives and contribute to a truly revolutionary customer experience."
Earlier this year, mSupply changed its name from Marcone, a company known as a multi-vertical distribution giant that more than tripled in size during recent years. Under the Marcone name, the company significantly expanded its geographic reach, product offering and addressable market through strategic acquisitions in the HVAC and plumbing sectors.
