Plumbing Manufacturers International (PMI) CEO/Executive Director Kerry Stackpole affirmed PMI’s support of Jessica Kramer's confirmation as assistant administrator to the Environmental Protection Agency’s Office of Water.

“Ms. Kramer brings not only extensive experience to this role, but also a genuine commitment to tackling complex challenges with fairness and balance,” Stackpole stated. “PMI is truly eager to work alongside her to advance water policy that is both pragmatic and rooted in sound science — policy that offers clarity, supports long-term investment, and encourages the kind of innovation that keeps American plumbing manufacturing strong and competitive.

PMI and its members have a vested interest in the EPA’s water quality protection programs, which the Office of Water oversees. PMI members produce 90% of all plumbing products sold in the United States and represent more than 150 brands sold and distributed in all 50 states. The plumbing manufacturing sector supports over 500,000 U.S. jobs and $35.3 billion in wages, directly and indirectly across the country, according to the Plumbing Manufacturing Industry Economic Impact Study.
