The 2027 WQA Convention & Expo will be held in Phoenix, a city with strong visitor appeal offering an elevated attendee experience, the Water Quality Association has announced. This signature event of the water treatment industry is expected to bring more than 3,000 dealers, manufacturers and consultants from around the world to the fifth-largest U.S. city April 28-30, 2027.

“Phoenix is a vibrant, growing city with a lively downtown, and the Phoenix Convention Center is a beautiful facility offering convenience and flexibility for WQA and our attendees and exhibitors,” said WQA Events Director Angie Silberhorn, CMP. “It’s an intimate destination experience and venue, which furthers our strategy of elevating the convention experience and creating an unforgettable event.”

Approximately 500 direct flights land daily at Phoenix’s Sky Harbor International Airport, which is only four miles from the convention center. With its year-round sun, beautiful desert scenery and amazing arts and cultural offerings, the “Valley of the Sun” is a tourist favorite.

The location allows WQA to maintain its strategy of a Western U.S. destination in odd-numbered years, and the scheduled dates are seven weeks after Aquatech Amsterdam, allowing exhibitors time to participate fully in both that major European show and the leading North American water treatment industry gathering.

In addition, the Phoenix Convention Center provides an intimate setting as well as pricing and flexibility to control costs for WQA, its attendees and exhibitors.

The location announcement was made on the final day of the 2025 Convention and Expo, this year’s event in Long Beach, California, April 22-24. WQA’s annual convention offers education sessions, outstanding attendee engagement and networking events, and a growing expo displaying the latest products and services in residential, commercial and industrial water treatment.
