The National Kitchen and Bath Association’s (NKBA) Kitchen & Bath Industry Show (KBIS) returns to its roots in 2024, with its original Design & Construction Week (DCW) co-location partner, International Builders’ Show, owned by National Association of Home Builders.
The two trade shows take place Feb. 27-29, 2024, and will be spread out over the Las Vegas Convention Center (LVCC). KBIS alone has more than 520 exhibitors covering nearly 400,000 square feet, as of fall 2023. And here’s a preview of what you’ll see:
NKBA’s Design & Industry Awards and Opening Party
The Design Awards and Opening Party — sponsored by Miele, Cyncly, Ferguson Bath, Kitchen & Lighting Gallery and Perlick — is where the who’s who of the K&B industry discovers who takes home the top awards for Best Overall Bath, Best Overall Kitchen, Specialty Kitchen, Large Kitchen, Primary Bath, Small Kitchen, Powder Room and Secondary Bath.
The 2024 event will again take place at the Wynn, but in a ballroom that is nearly twice the size of the one in 2023, allowing for larger crowds and additional seating during the awards show and party.
In addition to announcing the Design Award winners, the show will feature the winners of the Chairman’s Award, the Hall of Fame Award, the Innovative Showroom Awards and the Student Design Competition Awards.

DCW Opening Ceremonies
Open to all attendees, the DCW opening ceremonies features a celebrity host (2023 featured Mike Rowe) and a spectacular stage show. Limited seating means early goers will get the best seats. Doors open at 7 a.m.

State of the Association and State of the Industry
At this highly anticipated event, NKBA CEO Bill Darcy gives an overview of the association, as well as its accomplishments in the last year and its future direction, during the State of the Association address. This is followed by the State of the Industry, which focuses on what’s happening in the industry through discussions and panels with guest speakers.
In 2023, a standing-room-only crowd heard from Darcy and HGTV celebrities Jonathan and Drew Scott of “The Property Brothers.”

SHARK Event
If you are a manufacturers’ representative and looking for a new product line, this is the event for you. SHARK provides a chance to explore new working relationships and career opportunities with brands, featured in tabletop displays. You can buy tickets in advance or pay at the door.

The BASH
The BASH, sponsored by Cosentino and Ferguson Bath, Kitchen & Lighting Gallery, is an opportunity for attendees to relax, have fun and make new connections at one of the most exclusive night clubs in Las Vegas. Be prepared to dance the night away.

Voices from the Industry Conference
Voices from the Industry, sponsored by Floor and Decor and Bed, Bath, & Beyond Trade, features industry experts who provide more than 75 CEU-accredited courses in: business management, building and remodeling, kitchen and bath trends, design, marketing and leadership. The popular educational sessions will also be available on-demand post-KBIS.

Tickets: Yes, $875 for 3-Day Conference Pass (including the Expo pass), with discounts available for members and early registrants.
Tips: Purchase a full conference registration and get the Expo pass, plus all on-site VFTI presentations and unlimited access to on-demand sessions through 2024 — and save by registering early as a member. The early rate, available from Oct. 14 to Dec. 14, is $575 for members and $775 for nonmembers.
NKBA|KBIS NEXTStage
Moved to the South Hall in 2024, NEXTStage will feature daily hosts, headliners and content focused on current and upcoming trends, strategies and business advice. Programming includes more than 20 to 30 sessions over three days, ranging from business and technology to sustainability and wellness — including NKBA’s Design Trends presentations sponsored by Ferguson Bath, Kitchen & Lighting Gallery.
KBIS NEXTStage also unveils the new class of Thirty Under 30, hosts awards such as Best of KBIS, and features special activations and networking happy hours.

Global Connect Pavilion
The Global Connect Pavilion expands in 2024 and includes country pavilions, a lounge with a stage area and branded kiosks that feature international brands and exhibitors showcasing their services and products. Programming will take place in the Luxury Lounge and include brand spotlights from Global Connect members, including Concelo, SICAM and SCHOTT, as well as panel discussions, roundtables and networking.

New! The Luxury Lounge
KBIS 2024 will debut the Luxury Lounge, focused on the evolving nature of luxury in residential design. Content includes interactive sessions, expert panels and discussions by industry executives and well-known speakers.

Expanded Programming at NKBA Booth
NKBA will offer expanded programming at its booth, offering sessions on design and business trends as well as market forecasts, interviews and more. Also available will be a large, color-coded wall map of the KBIS campus to help you get around, as well as opportunities to network, meet the Design Award winners and enjoy a cocktail.

NKBA Activation: Free Professional Headshots

2024 marks the 60th anniversary of KBIS, since it first launched as a trade show in 1964. That was when NKBA was called American Institute of Kitchen Dealers (AIKD) and the show was the AIKD Show. To celebrate this special anniversary, join NKBA’s celebratory toast at NEXTStage in the South Hall for cake and champagne! No reservations required.
