ACCA-EI Standards Task Team Announces ANSI Public Review Period for Proposed Revisions to ANSI/ACCA Manual S

The Air Conditioning Contractors of America Educational Institute (ACCA-EI) Standards Task Team (STT) announces an American National Standards Institute (ANSI) public review period for proposed revisions to ANSI/ACCA Manual S - 2014, Residential Equipment Selection. This public review only involves the additional modifications made based on comments received on the first ANSI public review draft dated November 25, 2022.

The 45-day ANSI public review period begins on Friday, July 21, 2023, and continues through Sept. 4, 2023.

The Manual S standard provides procedures for selecting and sizing residential heating, cooling, dehumidification, and humidification equipment. The "Normative" Sections of the standard provide the equipment selection and equipment sizing criteria necessary to implement the standard's requirements.
