The American Society of Plumbing Engineers (ASPE) has announced that McWane, a global manufacturer of ductile iron products, has renewed as an ASPE Affiliate Sponsor for another year. McWane, which is celebrating its 100th anniversary in 2021, is represented in the ASPE Affiliate Sponsor program by its subsidiaries AB&I Foundry and Tyler Pipe.

Located in Oakland, California, AB&I Foundry is the largest manufacturer of cast iron soil pipe and fittings in the Western United States. Their product offerings include hub-and-spigot fittings, no-hub fittings, service weight hub-and-spigot fittings, hub-and-spigot pipe, no-hub soil pipe, and service weight hub-and-spigot pipe. All pipe and fittings are made from ~100 percent post-consumer recycled scrap iron.

With a foundry in Tyler, Texas and a gasket manufacturing facility in Marshfield, Missouri, Tyler Pipe represents a significant presence in the cast iron soil pipe and couplings industries. With distribution centers in City of Industry, California, Oakland, and South Plainfield, New Jersey, Tyler Pipe serves a variety of customers that span nearly the entire country.

ASPE’s Affiliate Sponsors comprise a crucial group of manufacturers and service providers that are essential in helping plumbing engineers design the most technologically advanced plumbing systems.
