Coburn's Rick McKinley Assumes New Role as Division Manager of Plumbing

Coburn Supply Co. has announced the promotion of long-time employee Rick McKinley to the role of division manager of plumbing. McKinley replaces Marty Kamerbeek, who will be moving into a new role as branch manager of the Houston location.

After a near 30-year career at Coburn's, McKinley has been promoted to a new position as the division manager for plumbing, where he will support all branches by managing vendor relations, inventory investments, and sales activities. "I'm eager to take on this new challenge because I can continue to work with customers while I venture into vendor relationship management. It's the best of both worlds," McKinley said.

Patrick Maloney, Coburn's president, echoes Rick's sentiments. "We are fortunate to have such a dedicated and knowledgeable employee stepping into this role," he said. "With the materials supply shortage of 2020 and 2021, Rick's expertise is needed to procure all of the items that were once in stock and are now on allocation. We're confident that he can handle the challenge."

McKinley will continue to work in Lufkin, where he lives with Becky, his wife of 22 years.
