Jay R. Smith Mfg. Co. has introduced Trap-Defender, a pressure-drop trap primer, to its Smith Fluid Controls product line. This patented trap primer activates when system pressure drops 3 psi or more, releasing water into the floor drain’s P-trap to maintain a seal.
