St. Louis-based manufacturer representative MR & Associates has been selected as the exclusive Eastern Missouri and Southern Illinois sales representative for Sloan Valve Co. Sloan is a world-leading manufacturer of commercial plumbing systems and has been in operation since 1906. MR & Associates will sell the Sloan product line for use in healthcare facilities, restaurants, hotels, schools, office buildings and other institutions in the region.

Founded in 1959 and serving Missouri, Illinois, Kansas and western Kentucky, MR & Associates has long standing partnerships with several leading manufacturers of plumbing and building products, such as Pfister, Elkay and Bemis. Hanley's father, Lee, who founded MR as The L.R. Hanley Co., was the first representative for Bobrick, a company MR & Associates still represents today; his grandfather sold Sloan brand flushometers nearly 90 years ago.
