In 2016, PHCPPros launched its first spotlight of women in the plumbing, heating, cooling and piping community. The spotlight launched just two years after one of the industry’s leading women’s events, now a dedicated affinity group, kicked off: American Supply Association’s (ASA) Women In Industry.

In 2019, PHCPPros launched the “Millennials On The Move” honorary listing in Plumbing Engineer, PHC News and The Wholesaler magazines. The listing was created to shed light on what is now the largest generation in the workforce, while also launching bigger conversations on topics such as industry recruiting, talent retention, leadership development and more.

The 2019 Plumbing Manufacturers International (PMI) conference took place in November 2019 at The Don Cesar Hotel in St. Pete Beach, Florida. PHCPPros was pleased to be a Silver Sponsor of the four-day event.

Today, WiA is a committee recognized at the Society level of ASHRAE.
