IAPMO has launched WDC-Pro, a web-based tool designed to improve the efficiency and accuracy of water pipe sizing for multi-family, high-rise, and residential buildings.

The Iowa Public Health Department has updated Chapter 25 of the Iowa Administrative Code, “State Plumbing Code,” from the 2021 Uniform Plumbing Code (UPC) to the 2024 edition.

The fund aims to improve public health, strengthen climate resiliency, and increase housing affordability, while contributing to a more sustainable future.

The events, held in New Jersey, Missouri, Iowa, and Massachusetts, were part of the broader March4Water initiative organized by IAPMO to celebrate World Plumbing Day and World Water Day.

All individuals anticipating an active role in the ANSI-accredited consensus development of the Uniform Codes at the technical committee meetings in Los Angeles, May 6-9, can now download these documents. 

Plumbing industry leaders came together at the New Jersey State House for the second Plumbing Industry Day annual event.

The event featured a display of cutting-edge mobile training capabilities, emphasizing the importance of plumbing professionals in safeguarding public health and water quality.

The deadline to submit an application is May 2.

The adoption was initiated and endorsed by the state’s Plumbing Commission and has the robust support of South Dakota’s plumbing industry.
