IAPMO Chief Operating Officer/Executive Vice President Dave Viola has been appointed to CEO effective Jan. 1, 2021, taking over for GP Russ Chaney, who is retiring after a quarter-century at the helm of the 95-year-old association.

IAPMO has been an active participant in the rule-making process from the beginning and submitted numerous comments for consideration. 

The training facility, designed for the plumbing industry, will generate all energy required to support the operation of the building on site through the incorporation of several renewable energy technologies.

The first award will be presented to Nelson's wife, Christine, on Aug. 19 at 2 p.m. PDT via Zoom.

The association is seeking volunteers in the “general interest” and “user interest” categories, with technical background in building and mechanical systems.
