The 2021 ASHRAE Winter Virtual Conference, which will include a mixture of live, pre-recorded and on-demand sessions, will take place Feb. 9-11, 2021.

The original dates of Jan. 25-27, 2021 have been officially postponed; March 15-17, 2021 continues to be considered with a final decision expected by Oct. 15, 2020.

ASHRAE’s Building Readiness guidance provides practical information and checklists to help minimize the chance of spreading SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19.

The series, which begins on Sept. 10 and concludes on Dec. 15, features 18 new or updated courses.

The 2020 competition focused on building a new 17,500-square-foot document storage and archive center in Mumbai, India.

The 41-page presentation includes checklists to prepare educational buildings to resume occupancy such as starting up HVAC systems, as well as checks and verifications to maintain during the academic school year.

The 25-year industry veteran was cited for technical leadership and volunteer service, as well as for his work developing educational programs in radiant heating and cooling.

The partnership will help the state establish post-COVID-19 building reopening framework using ASHRAE technical resources.
